A 12-euro admission fee for Cologne Cathedral?

Posted by Claudia Ahlers on 5 June 2026 at 10.30

From 1 July, a guided tour of Cologne Cathedral will cost 12 euros (domradio.de). Attendance at church services and prayer remains free of charge. There are also reduced admission prices for various groups. The proceeds are to be used for the cathedral’s upkeep. The issue is the subject of a heated debate on LinkedIn. 👇🏻
