AI is replacing jobs
AI is replacing 8,000 jobs at IBM – and that’s just the start.
Anyone who thinks that headlines like these are just a distant dream should start paying attention now.
IBM plans to replace 8,000 jobs through the use of AI and automation. This is not a case of mass redundancies, but rather a gradual shift: vacant positions will simply no longer be filled by people, but by AI systems.
The areas most affected are HR, administration and customer support – in other words, precisely those fields in which many people still believe they are safe today.
🟪 That doesn’t mean everyone will lose their job tomorrow.
🟪 But it does mean that many jobs are changing – or disappearing altogether.
🟪 And it means you should now ask yourself: How ready am I for this change?I don’t believe in scaremongering. But I do believe in being prepared. And in people who actively choose to understand and make use of the new tools.
👉 What are your thoughts on this? Is AI already being used as a genuine workforce in your field? And if so, how do you deal with it?
