How to become a good leader and, as a result,

build a strong team that works efficiently.

    3 key factors:

I would like to highlight a few factors below

so that managers have a strong team behind them.

—> 1. Support and encouragement for team members

In the long run, an ego trip does nobody any good.

    to offer support and encouragement,

is important for a good leader.

You should help your team to learn and succeed.

Good leadership means motivating people and building relationships every day.

It also involves showing respect and working together to find solutions to problems.

    (1) Team members encourage one another to take on challenges.

    (2) Motivating the team, even when things go wrong

    (3) Polite and honest behaviour

—> 2. Focus on team development

    Sharing knowledge is important.

Share relevant insights with the team as well.

This means that several members of the team stand to benefit from it.

    A manager is improving

and is there to help a team develop further.

Resolve and communicate staff issues in a constructive manner.

This helps to advance team members’ careers and maximise the bond between the team and their manager.

    (1) Challenges faced by staff

    accept and look for solutions

    (2) Seeing mistakes as learning opportunities

    (3) Use constructive criticism rather than hurtful criticism

    –>3. Effective communication

Respectful communication is an important part of

    of a successful team.

With the right leadership skills, you can succeed

    respectful conversations.

A lack of communication can lead to poor performance

    lead within the team.

A lack of conversation also leads to a decline in

    organisational clarity.

    (1) Listen to people’s problems and concerns first, then talk

    (2) Answer questions directly and constructively

    (3) Seek feedback at regular intervals

P.S.: What do you think makes a competent manager?

Your opinion is very important to me; I look forward to your comments.

    Best regards
